[SPS seminar. Clinical psychology and disability] - Some reflections on the concept of family.
Abstract
The article aims to contribute to the deconstruction of the naturalism that some disciplines, including some psychology, use to analyze family. Naturalism that limits the transformation and thus the process of adaptation to changes. The first part of the paper, mainly based on the viewpoint of some historians, including Raffaella Sarti, is a summary of some contributions suited to de-familiarize the concept of family. The second part is a summary of the changes referred to the Italian family now. Significant changes that are reshaping the character of the Italian family and address new demands for intervention to our profession. Demands that require clinical psychological categories of analysis to be analyzed.
