World War II Aftermath and the Reabilitation of the Displaced Persons
Abstract
The essays examines the programmes implemented in the refugee camps in Europe in the years following World War II. These programmes aimed at rehabilitating the displaced persons both physically and morally. In particularly, the essay focuses on the activities developed by the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration (UNRRA) and the International Refugee Organization (IRO).
